Student Athlete | Cheerleading

In addition to my academic interests, I have had the opportunity to pursue my athletic passions throughout my time at The University of Maryland. As a student athlete I commit to a rigorous athletic schedule in addition to a full schedule of coursework for my studies at the Smith School of Business. Cheerleading is a year-round endeavor as we train and practice to prepare for a national collegiate competition as well as football, basketball, and volleyball seasons.

I began competitive cheerleading at 13 years of age and competitive gymnastics at age 6. From a young age I enjoyed traveling to competitions nationwide and exploring the country through my athletics. Since committing to the University of Maryland Cheerleading team, I have had the opportunity to travel to many Big Ten football games and collegiate basketball tournaments. Having the ability to continue my passion for travel while competing in the sport I love is one of my favorite parts of college! A few special highlights include earning the distinction of “Collegiate All-American Athlete” at NCA pre-season camp in Myrtle Beach and traveling to NYC Yankee Stadium to cheer on the Terps in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. I love my teammates and ability to continue developing my athletic skills and strength all while meeting new people and making connections with fans.
